The piece ends on Friday night with a performance in Lepore translate information gathered over the course of the week and present a 75 to 90 minute participatory performance reflecting the information gathered over the course of the week.Ĭommunity members will be given the opportunity to define what war and peace means, interact with what other people think and create visual representations of their ideas, feelings and thoughts that will become part of a transparent database. Lepore interviews community members throughout the week for half hour segments. The goal of War/Peace is to open up a guided workspace during the weekdays and nights (Monday-Friday), a “healing chamber” that community members can utilize to cultivate a better understanding of war and peace.
